Privacy policy
SuppleBoard (the “service”) is a free reference tool that works without sign-up. Because the service has no need to identify or track individuals, it keeps no per-person records from the start and stores only aggregate counts. This page explains what is sent, what is stored and what is not stored.
1. Your age, sex, reference standard and the supplements you choose
Calculations run inside your browser. Your exact age is never sent to the server, and it is not put in the page address (URL).
For statistics, when you press “See results” the service sends your 5-year age group, sex, chosen standard, the products you added and the result for each nutrient, without anything that could identify you, and the server only adds to counts per condition. When you search, it sends only whether the search term was a nutrient name and whether there were zero results — never the search term itself.
No individual records, IP addresses or cookie identifiers are stored. Administrators can see only the totals per condition.
Your language choice (Korean or English) is kept only in this browser’s storage so the site can remember it. It is not sent to the server.
2. Visit statistics, hosting and ads
- Visit statistics: the service uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which according to Cloudflare does not use cookies or browser storage.
- Hosting: the service runs on Cloudflare, which temporarily processes connection information such as IP addresses for delivery and security.
There are no ads at the moment. If ads (planned: Google AdSense) are added, the following will apply.
- Data collected: cookie identifiers, access logs, device and browser information, IP addresses and similar (collected by the ad provider)
- Purpose: showing ads (including personalised ads) and visit statistics
- How to refuse: you can block cookies in your browser settings. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will see a consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform).
- The service does not send your age or sex to ad providers.
3. When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the message. We use them only to reply and keep them in the service’s own mailbox (Google Gmail). They are deleted one year after we reply, or right away if you ask.
4. Purpose, retention, sharing and deletion
The service stores only totals per condition, so apart from the emails above there are no per-person records to keep or delete. The service does not sell or hand over personal information. Information processed by hosting, visit statistics, email and ad tools follows each provider’s privacy policy (Cloudflare, Google). Both are overseas companies, so this information may be processed on servers outside Korea.
5. Cookies
The service itself does not use cookies. If ads are added, the ad provider may use cookies; what they do and how to refuse are described in section 2.
6. Your rights and contact
You can ask to see, correct or delete the emails you sent us. Send the request to the address below and we will handle it without delay.
